Dr. Stephanie Boden honored with 2024–2025 Herodicus Traveling Fellowship
Dr. Stephanie Boden, fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine and shoulder surgeon, was recently selected as one of only three recipients nationwide for the prestigious 2024–2025 Herodicus Traveling Fellowship. This honor recognizes outstanding orthopedic surgeons who have demonstrated excellence in clinical care, research, and leadership within the field of sports medicine.
Through this fellowship, Dr. Boden traveled across the United States, collaborating with leading sports medicine surgeons, observing advanced surgical techniques, and exchanging ideas on innovation in orthopedic care. The experience provided a unique opportunity to deepen her expertise in minimally invasive arthroscopic and advanced open reconstruction procedures of the shoulder, knee, elbow, and hip.
The fellowship concluded with an international component in Salzburg, Austria, where Dr. Boden presented her insights and key learnings from her travels to an audience of global orthopedic specialists. Her presentation highlighted emerging trends, best practices, and innovative approaches to patient care in sports medicine.
